Lukaku with a tap in, like this is what he would do plenty of time last season, 2 late goals was it against Bournmouth? or was it Hull? I forget now, but if it was 0 0 and they were struggling he would be no place to be seen judging by the rest of the game

Incredibly predictable.

He's generally a "one chance, one goal" striker (although that miss was horrid earlier but that's fine), but he's uninvolved in the majority of most games.

Rashford and Fellaini have been outstanding and won the game for United today, but Rashford didn't get the goal and thus won't get the plaudits.

United have so many fantastic players that they don't need him to be more than a threat. He stays on the last man and forces them deeper, while the likes of Mhkytarian, Mata, Rashford, Young and Valencia have acres of space. That is why he is such a good piece for them. He could do nothing all game but stand on the last man and he still opens up space for all of their players to have a go. It doesn't hurt that he is a great finisher.

When they're playing lesser teams, sure.

When they come up against decent teams, I still think we'll see a very different story.

We might. But I said it before- Lukaku was a vital signing for them. With him in the team, they will trash every team outside of the elite. So far, that has proven true bar Stoke.

"again" this is literally his first below par game of season and is playing with an injury. Bitterness is a horrible illness, would see someone for it.

Nope. Goals don't mean he's had a good game - it means he has scored goals.

He's been poor to average numerous times this season.

And it isn't "bitterness"; I held the same exact views of him here.
