Could have sworn I saw the RS with 8 men behind the ball themselves once they went 1 up. Protect what we have philosophy. Got no problem with this under the circumstances. And, maybe not for as long a period as Chelsea at 0-0, but the same principle at the end of the day. Its called game management.
