It would be wrong to say there aren't any referees in the premier league quite as bad as Andre Marriner as we know they're virtually all [Poor language removed], Jon Moss is even worse, but Marriner was calling that not a pen from near the centre circle, absolutely miles away and he needed binoculars - not even remotely good enough.

A ref can't referee a game from the centre circle and for his assistant not to flag is unbelievable, it was even on his side right next to him.

We need VAR and we need it now.

We normally give players who haven't scored a great opportunity. I don't see why we can't give a team who can't score the same graces.

Some refs are genuinely corrupt like Moss, Mason, Atkinson, Probert. I think Marriner is just utterly incompetent.

True, though they only have one meaningful game in the League Cup and he will probably use his squad for the FA Cup. City could still win everything this season, and they have the squad to do it.
