UEFA should take a leaf from the EFL handbook.

As the score stands now, another Spurs goal to go 3-2 up on aggregate would as good as kill this tie stone dead under UEFA rules, as Chelsea would need to score twice in the last less than half hour.

But as away goals don’t count until after extra time in the Caraboo Cup, the game would still be poised excitingly even Spurs do score the next goal.

The big clubs play reserve teams until this round but they have the depth to still be good enough to beat a lot of lower league and lower Premier League teams despite not playing the first XI. Other clubs do the same thing but obviously with much less success.
