Today's Football 2018-19 Season

As ridiculous as that Wolves goal was it's hard to feel any kind of sympathy for Man City when their equaliser comes from a Sterling dive and two minutes later Aguero throws himself to the floor and somehow doesn't get carded.

Not going to bang on about the Niasse ban last season but the lack of any kind of consistency week in week out from the refs is a massive reason everybody thinks they are so poor. It's like I said the other day, VAR with this set of officials is pointless as it's still the same inept tits making the decisions.

The Wolves goal was scored with the hand but defo not deliberate so were does the law stand with regards to ball to hand, etc. Other end of the pitch and I doubt a pen would have been given so what is the difference.

Goal 1-1

Yeah, the law says it has to be deliberate. And it's pretty obvious to anyone with an ounce of common sense that he tried to head the ball but missed and the ball hit his arm which was in the position that it was for support when he landed, not in an attempt to play the ball. The handball law doesn't exist to penalise players for that.

However, if it was the other way around and it was a defender who did that and knocked it out for a corner these days i'm pretty sure a pen would be given, FIFA seem to be instructing refs to give more handball decisions in the area unless they player is literally a yard away from a ball kicked at them really hard with their arms glued to their side.

My opinion is if the ball goes in off your arm it's handball. Whole point of the game is to score without use of hands/arms. Anyway it's their year lads
