Scored 36 goals last season, (I think), and got 7th. Conceded 10 in 3 games, and wasted 2 goals in a 4 2 defeat this season. Mess.

Europe has seen them off so far.

They'll be out next week after losing the first leg 3-1 in Greece. They'll figure it out then.

I've never seen a team rely on heroic goalkeeping more than Burnley did last season.

It was over the course of the season tho. Teams were getting over 3 on their expected goals according to the stats men but Pope would somehow keep a clean sheet.

The didn't play a sustainable system. It was route 1 and sit back and soak up pressure. It left way too much to luck. It could go as spectacularly wrong at some point as it went well last season.

I think they could well go down tbh. Especially with Hart.

I refuse to believe there isn't someone better than Joe Hart in their youth system. That blokes confidence has collapsed in on itself and is now sucking in other players confidence.

Newcastle seem to have taken our "Least Possession" at home stat record (home to City last season).. they are welcome to it, especially that dirty Yedlin who almost gave the RS a gift (with the help of the ref of course).

If it spreads to the opposition, there’ll be 22 players on the pitch, all totally lacking in confidence. It’d be a fun game to watch live. I would yell out all sorts of horrible insults at them all...really make them feel rotten.

It is a big part of Burnley's problems right now. Dyche's defensive tactics try to encourage lower angle shots in a hope that the goalie will eat them up. If the goalie can't then the whole thing falls apart. I'm so glad we didn't make a serious run at Dyche last year. Big Sam level of attacking play with better defense. We would have set ourselves back even further.
