So what's a suitable punishment? A lifetime of watching Birmingham city seems ample enough to me

A fine and the ground being closed for a game or two and they will have gotten off lightly.

Could see it being five or six points plus a big fine though - as bad as the act itself was the only person to react from the club was one steward; Jota looked like he saw him before anyone else yet did nothing, no other steward went to help the first one, one of the other stewards got taken away after the goal after that and the crowd spent the rest of the game booing him. West Ham got a £100,000 fine for something that was nowhere near as bad as that was (the Burnley game last season).

Surely Birmingham have to get a points deduction for the two things that happened in the game. They need to make an example of them.

Since the turn of the year all they’ve done is pump some bottom half teams at home. They’ve done nothing to suggest they won’t drop points away from home or to Spurs and Chelsea in the next 8 games.

No chance Spurs will get anything at Anfield. Chelsea may get a point. Can't see them dropping points anywhere. They'll walk all over their B team at Soton and Rafael will lie down and let them tickle his fat belly. The rest is against relegation cannon fodder. City can easily drop points at United and Palace.

Rafael is a kopite at heart, as their fans like to remind us.

Brighton won at Palace yesterday.

Nowt to suggest City won’t.
