Im not comparing the quality at all, you commented about a newly promoted team playing without fear, the last one I can remember was Blackpool. They went down but that season they played open attacking football against all the big teams - they didnt try to park the bus.

Blackpool , in that season , only had one plan of attack for each game . That was " Attack " . Many of their fans thought it would be one season in the PL , so they might as well enjoy it and go down fighting . The team was sussed-out after half the season and they faltered . To be fair , though , they only got themselves relegated on the last day . Decisions made by the owners of the club may have contributed to the demise , too . Wolves , on the other hand , seem as they have been in the PL for years . Better players than Blackpool had ? . Seems that way . Better owners ? Definitely . They will remain in the PL for a good few years

Agree with all of the above, Wolves are absolute miles ahead of where Blackpool were but im not comparing the clubs, points won or tactics etc. Im merely pointing out the last time a club come up and played the 'bigger' teams without fear, going at them instead of 11 behind the ball camped in their half stuff was Blackpool. Obviously they wernt very good and it didnt work for them.

Tbf wolves can't really be compared to other teams who came up because they didn't come up with championship players. They had a host of premier league and European players last season and then brought in top European players in the summer, way bigger than their actual stance.... Because of mendes. This is a bit diffent than say qpr who had loads and loads money which meant they would just overspend on a lot of ok players.

Nuno has still had to garner that great team spirit and work ethic tho..

It's all down to his management style

Not about the money though as us, West Ham and Leicester since they won the title have spent a fortune on average players who havent worked out for one reason or another and we are all similar.

Maybe the fact that Mendes has a vested interest in Wolves and knows a few of the players and manager personally as he represents them helps.

I wonder what percentage of Wolves' goals this season have come from the counter, they are quite clinical.
No surprise when you've got world class passers such as Moutinho and Neves in midfield and the clinical Jiminez up top. Sad to say but if they keep or improve that squad it'll take us years to get close to them. Awful times for us.
