Doubt it, it was his reign that started all this mess, despite doing fairly well he brought in all those guys like Campo, Anelka, Djorkaeff, Okocha at great expense to the club. They were on huge wages some of those players, and when Bolton went down they struggled to get rid of them.

Now this is interesting. Being able to hear the referee talk though decisions in a game, including a VAR check, makes the whole thing transparent and understandable. I wonder if something like this would ever happen over here. Wouldn't need to hear constant chatter, but if the broadcaster was able to add in the officials' microphones during a VAR situation I think it would clear things up a lot rather than just having commentators cluelessly guessing.
