England scoring 10 in one international break was unexpected to say the least.
Ward-Prowse, Wilson, Dier and Rose look a level below the rest of this squad. Some real talent in there and they look a team. Even our 50p.

Very, very easy for England again, looking a level or nine better than the others in this group.

A few defensive problems but arguably all this defence are just replacements anyway. Stones, Chilwell even Gomez ( and Smalling) on current form with Alexander-Arnold too in the picture.

Lots of decent reserves too with the likes of Trippier.

Walker and Rose aren't good enough need replacing.

Barkley had his best game yet and Callum Hudson-Odoi with a sparkling full debut (although possibly slightly culpable in their goal imo), Sterling and Kane are clearly our best players atm with the former now showing his City form for England

FAR PREFER the NATIONS LEAGUE to these qualifiers though, get back to games that mean something against real quality opposition, semis or relegation at stake in every match.

The Nations League is going to be absolutely huge in the future as 48 team finals and boring easy qualifiers won't keep interest alive in every match.

The Nations League has easily the best tournament format.

Watching crap teams get bummed in qualifiers is a waste of time.
Totally agree.

Agree with you saying some players a level below, but its a squad who seem to want to play for the shirt and each other. I always use Wales as a great example of a team who want to play for each other as in the last Euros. The 'golden generation' of 2006 proved that if you dont want to play as a team you wont get the rewards.
