An all-London XI would look something like this:

Bettinelli
Wan-Bissaka - Gomez - Maguire - Shaw
Loftus-Cheek - Rice
Sancho - Hudson-Odoi - Sterling
Kane


What a team that is....only the capital. That team would be good enough to qualify from this group of Euros and go far in tournaments. Goes to show the talent England are producing currently.

Maguire is from Sheffield isnt he? But yeh i get your point

Harry Maguire is from Sheffield mate.
 

That is an incredible bunch of players there. Perhaps the FA deserve some credit for putting some plans down about 10 years ago. Because it seems that most of them have actually developed more under the England age teams, rather than with their clubs. With a few notable exceptions.
Re your comment about the FA. Agree 100% with this. Not only are England going to benefit from this but the other home nations as well. Gareth Southgate pointed out that 50% of the current under 16s have dual nationality and some even have triple. If you look at the current Welsh squad, a few of those have been involved with England at some stage.
