He's a bit of a snake though.

He had a contract that stated that he could leave for 8 million € during a transfer period. There was interest for him during the January transfer window, because of Genk being on course for the title in Belgium they made a deal with him (legally binding). Resulting in him giving a press conference that he would be staying until June. Also don't forget he was the Genk Captain.

Some days later in February; he suddenly changed his mind- refusing to train and when the manager played him he played with the hand break on and sort of was on strike (one of the reasons Genk went out in the EL, since he rekindled the whole affair just before the double encounter), and was generally ruining the atmosphere in the club. Effectively he has done a huge number on Genk. He left and on top of that they were no longer able to get a replacement, since the transfer period was over. He quickly discovered that legally he had no legs to stand on, but seeing he was really stinking the place out Genk sold him, in agreement with Toronto, for an extra fee.

This resulted in this: (Pozuello doll and running him over with a train) A bit unsavoury.

The plus is since him leaving Genk has regained form (another reason being the return of injured players like Berge). Effectively trashing Anderlecht 3-0 today.

Yeh saw that game today - decent win! I remember back when he used to play for Swansea. I’m sure he’ll be too good for the MLS but fair play he sounds like an arsehole.
 
There are four sides vying for two of the CL places now, not as clear cut for Spurs... Basically I'm hoping they see that and get a result today. C'mon
