Spurs didn’t deserve anything they were so poor but still had the chances to score a few and should have had a pen. They’re getting the results but for me this Liverpool team is nowhere near the 08/09 or 13/14 teams.

I mentioned it earlier but starting Dier and Winks in a game like this was madness. There must have been other players/systems available.

Dier in particular is a complete waste of time. In fact, he reminds me of our midfield a lot. Carries himself around the pitch as though he's something when in actual fact he's playing CM without the ability to do anything other than pass the ball backwards and sideways.

Don't know whether to be worried that they've played badly in most games and managed to win them or think that it shows that they are an average team in a poor league who will be found out. They're shaky when they're attacked and have a moderate midfield, but I've seen worse teams win the league. Just need to hope that City keep their focus. As for Spurs with Lloris out and the negative stuff about the new ground, and no new signings it could be a tricky season for them.

Spurs won’t do anything this season and I would expect City Chelsea and United to all go past Liverpool over 38 games but at the moment they’ve done well to win games that they’ve played poorly in (Palace and Leicester). You don’t get anything in September though.

The test will be these Champions League games. Even Red Star Belgrade will be a horrible away game for them. I'll start to worry when they carry this form on over the next few weeks.
