Restricted City to a goal in each half and if the strikers had turned up might have gone into the break level.
Half an hour horror show against Chelsea went 2-0 down but from then on we rip them apart at back at will to go level and if Aubameyang and Mkhi don't miss open goals we go on to win the game. Instead a sucker punch in 90th min to lose to Alonso who scores against us every time we play them.
It will take 18months for the team to play exactly the way he wants and about 3 transfer windows to get the team Emery wants but we are heading the right way.
There will be set backs but I can see what he's trying to do and I back him.
It can't all be down to luck.
We lose Cech who's been immense with his hands(he is not a sweeper keeper), Leno steps up and makes a world class save.
We are not the finished article by a mile but we are not push overs any more. I can live with that. Onwards.

You were comfortably beaten by City despite it only being 2-0. However I will agree that you probably should have put Chelsea away and won that one. From what I've seen you have good moments and bad moments and Cech and Leno have covered up a poor backline that will have to be fixed if you want to get back to the top. Also just stop playing Xhaka.

I have got a score on Cardiff but my thought processes must be flawed as for me to win the bet Cardiff would have to score a goal.
