This should never have been televised. I think it should always be lower league sides at this stage of the competition on tv anyway. Two reserves sides on tv is not what this competition needs.

Yeah I know viewing figures because of home county beauts who wouldn't find Anfield on a map but most people will have turned this off.

It was never tie of the round. Even if it was, who cares? The Champions were drawn away at Goodison in the 3rd round of the cup a couple of years back and that kicked off at 3pm on the Saturday.

It's really not looking good for them in defence if he's out for a while.

Went down holding his hamstring but difficult to say how serious. Could be precautionary given the issues they have at the back at the moment
