Leicester fans must scratch there heads, and not because they have dandruff, how do you win at chelsea, home to man city, away to Everton, yet lose at home to Cardiff, southampton and away to Newport in the last 6,now i know we can be bad but dont think we could even do that, heck we cant beat city chelsea home or away lol

It's not a hopefully thing. City and Liverpool don't win because of luck as much as we want to say the RS do. They win because they consistently create chances to shoot from very close to the goal and make it very difficult for the opponents to do so. It isn't a hard concept but doing it is incredibly difficult.

There is no guarantee at all. You can have as much as possession as you wish. You can create as much as chances you want but if you cannot get results/points and put the ball at the back of the net. It means absolutely nothing.

No mate if you believe in any kind of statistics they show that teams that shoot more or create more chances or whatever stat related to getting the ball in positions to possibly score will score more. I don't mean possession by the way but the other stuff all bears out. You can't put the ball in the back of the net without shooting unless apparently you're Burnley today. But that's a major exception to the rule. And as it applies to Everton we aren't winning because we aren't creating chances or getting shots from good positions.

Just as avoiding the Europa Cup nightmare by seeing off Napoli 1-0 and coming second in their group avoided fixture problems later, having the FA cup next after that defeat to City fell just right for them, I'm pretty sure going out will prove hugely beneficial to their run in too.

City will be in everything and playing twice, and even possibly three times a week in one week in late season, as EUFA won't allow rearranged league fixtures, including at least one for the league cup final and possibly two more for the FA Cup later rounds, to be played in ANY week which is reserved for the Champions league, including weeks you're not playing.

Liverpool meanwhile will have a whole week to prepare for virtually every game and a relatively comfortable run in.

That's besides games in hand never being equal to points in the bag because of points pressure and fixture congestion.
