Frustrating to watch City tonight tapping away around the edge of the box. It reminded me of Arsenal's late Wenger period. Very dull to watch.

I admire the technical excellence of it, but it's bloodless to me. And for all the accolades, it is based on a risk-averse philosophy: possess the ball at all costs to maintain control.

It's why Klopp has often been City's only match: his teams bring chaos - the very antithesis of what Guardiola wants in a game.
