Saw Lewandowski in a CL game score a volley from inside the centre circle and the ball just continued to rise into the roof of the net. It was chalked off for offside somehow. One of them strikes that just seemed superhuman. It's on the reel in my mind with McFadden vs Charlton.

Have been happily half-watching extra time in the Welsh game for the last 30 minutes on iPlayer.

I wondered why I couldn’t remember half time of extra time - and realised that I had actually been watching the opening 30 minutes of the match on delay.

I thought they’d just reset the clock to 0 for extra time.

I just fast forwarded to live, to the end of extra time, and see it’s 0-0 anyway.

So nothing lost, I guess.
