I get the feeling Palmer should be playing as a number 10 in the classical continental or South American sense. However this seems to be a position that English football has historically been unable to accommodate.
Like Foden, he seems to have that rare combination of seeing things before other players and having the technique and skill to pull off what he's seeing.

With Foden, Palmer and Bellingham England have got 3 players who would all ideally play as a no10. It's like Koemans Everton ffs

Saka is every bit as good as them too IMO. Nice bit of depth in attacking mid positions. TBF Foden and Palmer are capable of playing left and right as well as in the centre. Then you factor in the likes of Grealish, Rashford, Bowen, Maddison etc. Ridiculous depth in that position
