Brighton are just phenomenal...a good Board with business acumen coupled with a manager who has tactical acumen and here we are.

Evan Ferguson, Erling Haaland and Osimhen could easily be the 3 best strikers in the world in a couple years time and not one of them would realistically see a world cup if not for the expansion. Surely the most diverse spread of talent ever

I doubt many people on here or elsewhere would have claimed De Zerbi would go anywhere near the job that he's currently doing.

But for whatever reason, he's getting a tune out of this squad even though they've sold lots of first team players.

Didn't qualify for the last one and when they do they are regular group stage exitees. By no means a powerhouse on the world stage even by African standards
