That's how VAR should work... my initial reaction was a penalty then with replays it became obvious that it was never a penalty... my biggest complaint is that things like that never go in Evertons favour..

I wouldn't worry about it, you probably weren't the only one. I think I wanted him but that was probably more a romantic choice rather one borne of confidence.

That decision in isolation was fine. I wouldn't want that to be a penalty against Everton

The problem is the enormous lack of consistency from VAR officials

If that happens between Tarkowski and Branthwaite on Havertz in two weeks, they get the penalty. It’s not tin foil hat stuff; it’s been borne out week by week
