Got a bit emosh at this. Part of my Saturday nights for years.
Feels like he’s the new Potter. Suspect results at United or Chelsea would be similar.McKenna would be far better if he went to Brighton for a few years then Man Utd/Chelsea. Jumping straight into a top 6 club might not be the smartest idea imo.
Ive not heard of a single player in their first 11. Kind of ridiculous that they agreed to play and then just sent reserves and youth players to the slaughterJust seen that lol what happened there? was the Newcastle side made up of u16's or something?
It would at Chelsea, not sure about Utd as he has previous experience of working there and will know many of the players and how they work and how the club works. The thing with Utd is now Ratcliffe is there wanting to strip and rebuild the club from the top down, he has already wound up some of the staff who work there with his proposed changes and the first team needs a huge amount of work doing to it outgoings/incomings and giving them an identity/playing style. There is one thing doing that at Ipswich, it's another thing doing it at Utd though. It's why I reckon a bridging move for a couple of years to somewhere like Brighton is better for him atm, very stable club, will back the manager, decent players, they will give him a platform to show what he can do.Feels like he’s the new Potter. Suspect results at United or Chelsea would be similar.
Ye i agree but i think if you look at tonnes of “ silly yellows” you could make a case for them being on purposeThe fact this was actually flagged to UEFA/PL by an actual betting company in South America would suggest it's not looking good for him. Some of the bookings are a bit silly when you see them, there is one in particular where he does a hand of god type thing to stop the ball going forward and it's 90+ min into the game, I look forward to his explanation on this one.
Brighton are on the downward part of their cycle now. Also agree. If he did decide he wanted to test himself straight away then Brighton is the place for a young up-and-comer.
Deserved better didnt heWhat a way to humiliate Xavi. He basically did the Hokey Cokey before they binned him.
That president is one corrupt piece of work.
Their squad really isn’t that bad IMO. They just need to add a CM or 2. They’ve got decent options in attack and defenceBrighton are on the downward part of their cycle now.
PL have made sure their squad has been stripped bare and they haven’t replaced sustainably. They will be down in a few years.
