Quite frankly disgusting seeing Henderson still playing for England and waxed lyrical about by Southgate. Hope Phillips is in the squad despite playing about 5 times in 18 months is genuinely tbf biggest slap in the face to any midfielder behind him in the pecking order for England. The thing is he’s just picking him and Maguire out of pure stubbornness and spite now, he can’t drop them because it will look like he’s caved in to the media and fans, so he’s just doubling down. I cannot wait til he’s no longer our problem, an absolute joke of a manager. Would be surprised if anyone in world football employs him.
