I've been watching the Boro/City game while listening to Everton on radio. City have been pretty poor in the final third but Benjani has put them in front on the stroke of half time. The stadium looks almost empty, Boro have terrible support!

I see Pompy are 1 down at home to Coventry and I hear Diouf was sent off for a horror tackle at Villa Park. Not much else going on at the moment...

York were briefly 1up at Stoke but Stoke have turned things around now. Pompy are level with Coventry at 1-1. Wigan have also equalised at home to Hull.

Preston are leading Colchester 5-0.

Spurs, Bolton, Sunderland and Burnley are all 2-0 up in their respective games. 10-man Blackburn have pulled one back at Villa. It's now 2-1.

1732: The plot thickens. Burnley boss Owen Coyle - heavily linked with the vacant Bolton job - did not appear for their post-match news conference after the 2-1 win at MK Dons. Burnley officials insisted that Coyle had to leave to catch a scheduled flight at Luton airport to see his family in Scotland. Hmm.

Weird one this.....

The sh1te were hanging on like Stallone as the minutes ticked down, that horrible Kuyt was always a danger, Torres missed a chance to get an undeserved winner, and Reading can feel hard done by not to have got a famous scalp today, you know damn well that the winners of this will face bedlington terriers at home or something in the next round.

and, not a single upset in third round FA cup weekend, what the hell's that all about then, 3rd round weekend, and not a sniff of an upset.

they had like 6,000 turn up for Wigan and Hull today, two top flight teams in the 'greatest cup competition in the world', I know it's cold out there and money's a bit tight but..

The Magic and Prestige is being slowly eaten away by each passing year.

Can't help but agree with this, surely the F.A cup should have sell outs or even near that, if it is the greatest cup in the world. Which I would disagree with, greatest domestic cup in football, but that is about it. I personally think if you want to still have that magic, you need to scrap the League cup.

Since, it's introduction in 1960/61, Everton have never won the League cup, so it remains a target, i wouldn't want to see it go without seeing us lift it, after that, they can bury it on Neptune for all I care, but I just want to see it go down on our honors list.

two losing finals in like nearly 40 years for a club of our stature, ?something stinks.
