I think he impeded him. Whether he went over easy or not is debateable but I still think its a foul. No contact on the ball and he put his body in the way so the player couldn't get past. It was pretty much obstruction imo. The fall brought it to the refs attention. Got no prob with that.

I'd say I'm surprised at how bad Ashley Cole is, but I'd be lying. Textbook example of slightly above average player made to look like a footballing God because he plays in the Premier League at a club based in London, England.

Although yes, it turned out those games were pants. I'd rather they were shown than United/City/Chelsea every weekend.

I enjoyed the first game, both teams went out and played football, very little hoofing. i was really impressed with how laudrup has swansea playing.
