sounds like a nice fella, grim footballer though, had a little purple patch in his first season, was dreadful after that, kind of player who wouldn't have played as high up as he did if he hadn't been left footed

is the defender steven reid? whoever it is, what is with that swipe when the ball is nowhere near, if he just stands there then the ref can't even be conned by the dive. terrible decision though, when are the FA going to wake up and clamp down on this, totally agree with what pulis says about bans. risking a yellow card for a match winning penalty never weighs up properly and that's only if your found guilty at the time. if you win the decision then you win. it's bad enough that they brought in the rule where players have a right to go down if there's contact, i mean come on ffs, is this world full of baboons in important places or is it just me thinking that?
