The ref's to blame too. It was embarrassing how he clearly went to raise the yellow he pulled out and then pulled out the red after being told to by Fabregas and Busquets.

It's just wrong that happened. Two players didn't just make the refs decision - they changed it too.

As for the 'kick', if that's dangerous play I can only hope that every Everton player this season has no greater level of assault on them than that. Barcelona have been doing this for years. It's as much a part of their game as Messi's runs and Xavis metronome passing.

yeah its poor from the ref, but why give him the opportunity to make that mistake, if brown isnt a whopper it doesnt happen

ferdinand out as well, i enjoyed this comment on BBC

William Gould: I don't think Moyes has picked a team without a player playing out of position yet! Cleverley's turn tonight.

aguero playing for city which means he'll be fit to play us, grr.

Brown's fault entirely. Petulant tit.

Any Celtic fans complaining about, cast your mind back to the game at Tannadice the other month, where Gavin Gunning got a three match ban for exactly the same sort of kick.

Also featured in the game was Celtic's winning goal coming from a free kick given after a blatant dive. Beautiful that it's come back around to bite them on the arse.
