I don't think he is a bad manager, if they had the patience to suggest keeping him for more than a season or 2, I think he would certainly do well there, he had introduced some emerging youngsters and bought some interesting youngsters too, given time ( which I doubt he will get) he has potential.

The rope is there for him with comments from Gerrard this week saying top 4 is achievable, from what I hear its him and Skrtl who are struggling the most to adjust to his " style ".

Indeed, but if there was some kind of goal-line replay thing to see if it did or didnt cross the line then Anichebe's goal would have stood - wheras after watching a couple of replays and a zoomed-in image from above its still hard to say if the Cisse one was a goal or not.
