Got an RS at work who genuinely believes Rafael is the messiah. Anything Chelsea do now is because 'they have got a good manager at last'.

Glad to see you were all pleased to see our Welsh maestro Bale score a lovely hat-trick against Villa ;-)

Sunderland away next for the Mighty Spurs - got a feeling we will sneak a win there and then Reading at home. We seem to be getting our act together defensively any way.

Good luck for the new year. I'd much rather Everton get CL football than Arse, RS etc.

That's just a fact of life for every team except Citeh, the Chavs and maybe Utd.

If he moves on I will wish him good luck and all the best for his future career. He is one of the few British players that could hold is own with one of the major European teams.

We lost our two best players at the end of last season and we are still in the hunt for 4th.

I think he'll stay with spurs for a couple more seasons even if you don't get CL this year. Seemed very happy in his interview when he signed a new contract, still young too no?

I've noticed that as well. It shouldn't be forgotten that Chelsea won 7 out of their first 8 games before being robbed against United. they stumbled after that and RDM paid the price but I have no doubt they'd have picked up if he remained in the post.

I saw someone say that Chelsea have a worse squad than Spurs, Arsenal, United and City. They don't, of course, but what he was trying to do was play down their squad so any success the FSW has is down to him being the Messiah.

Another one said it would be 'remarkable' if they finished 2nd.

As we are on the topic of Rafael, I reckon Chelski could do really well with him there. Taking off our normal disdain for him cos he was at that lot, tactically he knows his stuff, and his knowledge/contacts in the game could pay off for them.
