Glazers couldn't give one toss about the league cup.

They're in the CL next year he's safe, they're not he isn't.

Fair comment, I suppose. But from a morale pov for a new manager; if they got to the final and beat their hated neighbours it'd surely count for something even if they fell short of CL qualification.

If Moyes can win the LC and get a CL place he'll be safe as houses. In fact, if he just gets one he'll be retained.

Fail to get either and he will be sacked, IMO.

United's share price is going down arse over tit of late.

Kind of makes their Singapore or was it New York share issue fraudulent if they had any idea Ferguson was going.

The investors will be fuming

Moyes has really got to stamp his authority on matters right now to stop the rot. He has to go out and get an eye-catching signing that'll inspire some belief he knows wtf he is doing. He's quite simply a laughing stock atm. You cant survive with that situation dragging on.

He will, when Rooney comes back he'll win them enough games on his own to buy the Moyesiah some more time

old Waffle Roonboots does seem to be one saving grace for ginger nuts, but I've said it since Moyes went there and I'm sticking with it, united won't stick with him, he's on for the sack

Moyes won't finish the season at United I don't think

I think we al[ knew he was the wrong man for the job; little did we know though that he's probably the worst man for it. Hand on heart when they battered Leverkusen at their place 5-0 I thought they were on the march. That result against a very handy German team underlines just what bull**** the talk of how this United team cant cut it is.

It has to be his confrontational style of management behind the scenes. He's put a few noses out of joint and is paying the price. I reckon Rooney and van persie will bide their time getting back too. I cant see them busting a gut to help Moyes when they have the WC as their priority now.

David Moyes on the transfer window: "We know the type of players we want to bring in the club. A lot are not available, if we can get them we will try to do that but it is difficult. The club has always said it is long term here. We have an idea of the players we like to being in. We would like them now obviously, but it is more than likely it won't be."

he's not saying the right things imo.

i know he's trying to not go OTT because the fans will get pissed off if it's like the summer again, but he's got to show more positivity. why's he so concerned with players that aren't available?

Last line is an excellent point about van Persie. He'll be fully focused on the summer and won't be back to save moyes unless they make the CL last four.

Can't feel any sympathy for him while he retains that weapon Neville
