And thats correct, why on Earth should it be impartial?

I dont understand why people think it should be, its Team GB versus the Ukraine.

not saying it should be - it would be better to listen to.

i don't want to watch a match where some semi-successful footballer is foaming at the mouth about a team he has no affiliation with because they won a corner, whereas the oppo will do something great and it'll be " yeah, that was alright, i suppose"

Spurs March fixtures:

PL - Tottenham v Cardiff Sun 2 Mar 16:30
PL - Chelsea v Tottenham Sat 8 Mar 17:30
EL - Benfica Thu 13 Mar ???
PL - Tottenham v Arsenal Sun 16 Mar 16:00
EL - Benfica Thu 20 Mar ???
PL - Tottenham v So'ton Sun 23 Mar 13:30
PL - Liverpool v Tottenham Sun 30 Mar 16:00

We should be above them if things go well by the end of the month

he's a cheat, it's clear to see using videos. the game has gone now, dnipro's season has been ended in europe so they'll not get justice. but vertonghan should see justice and get a lengthy ban for being a total cheat.

anelka gets 5 games for making a hand gesture that he probably didn't know the meaning of, yet vertonghan gets his team into next round, avoids a ban and avoids any physical punishment that he deserved.
Technically he's not cheated though mate.... As soft as it was the lad still used his head.... Even if vertonghen stayed on his feet it makes do difference .... The lad was stupid and stuck his head in.... He cost his team the game not vertonghen mate

he was feigning an actual injury to get an oppo player sent off because he knew the original contact wasn't worthy of a red card, all because his team wouldn't have come through 11 v 11.

that's cheating. regardless of what the dnipro player should have done.

i'm puzzled as to why BBC think this now means spurs have proved they have the quality to go on and win the cup - they were getting ousted by ukrainian no-hopers

Because it makes them look like complete idiots.

A foreigner dives and it's terrible. A foreigner dives wearing an English club shirt and there was probably enough contact to justify a free kick.

Why any TV company thinks football fans require Andy Townsend or Clarke Carlisle to tell them what's happening in a match I guess I'll never know anyway.

Some pretty good ties in the next round, like.

Porto vs Napoli should be fun.

It should, but hands down tie of the round?

Sevilla Vs. Real Betis, derby in Europe? mental. Fiorentina Vs. Juve should be good too.

The Competition has drawn terribly this year hasn't it? The half decent sides like Eintract Frankfurt got tough draws last round, and then Spurs Vs. Benfica, Betis Vs. Sevilla, Juve Vs. Fiorentina, Porto Vs. Napoli... and then you get AZ Vs. Anji and Basel Vs. Red Bull Salzburg.... Imagine what the QF's will be like

Not the point mate..... He used his head.... It's a red card offence.

The use of his head was a gesture after having been provoked. There was even less force in it than Fellaini's 'head butt' on Shawcross a year or two ago.
I bet even the Spurs supporters were embarrassed by the way their player collapsed in agony, Suarez like.
