Ha Ha Ha.

The bedwetters on here. The Kopite WUMs are having a field day with them.

Let's see what happens at OT tomorrow before opening a vein up, eh?

Chelsea: points in the bag at this stage with 8 games to go for them.

I know who's position I'd rather be in and it's not Liverpool's.

By the way, do NOT right off Arsenal. They have the decks cleared now and can grab this title. If they beat Spurs tomorrow it is a massive impetus for them. Dark horses though.

Prediction for the final league table:

Chelsea
Arsenal
City
Liverpool

For what it's worth, I don't think they will win the title either. All I said was that the notion they "could" win it is hardly ridiculous.

It's a two horse race between city and chelsea; arsenal will get third and kopites will get 4th. If both teams could lose tomorrow then it would be an ideal world but a 0-0 draw to united scrappy 1-0 would please me

This stage of the season draws aren't enough for chasing teams. Liverpool have to go to OT and win; Arsenal have to go to WHL and win.

The weeks are being ticked off and gaps of 6/7 points (regardless of games in hand) are critical.

City winning in that fashion today was a clear statement by a title chasing team. 10 men for all the game nearly and yet they win 2-0. That's what it takes to win under adversity and claw back three points for the title charge.

I'd go so far as to say if either or both Liverpool and Arsenal drop points tomorrow then their title chances go from 'possible' to 'improbable'...purely because the games are fast running out.

Its just a weird wacky season mate tbh, nothing would surprise me in the last 10 games or so from any of the top 7 teams us included, smart money would be current top 4 staying as they are with city either 1st or 2nd, but any of the top 4 has a chance depending on injuries and form lasting, similarly Arsenal could theoretically tail spin this month opening up 4th to spurs us or united - whether any of those 3 is capable of going on the type of run that would capitalize on a Arsenal slump is debatable though

Good year for the neutral or casual armchair fan though with the unpredictability like

Agree mate. For the first time in years there is no dominant team. Chelsea have come closest to becoming that, but they were undone by a harsh first sending off there today and have stumbled a bit with it.

It could well come down to GD and City benefitting again. I wouldn't write the Kopites off like. But as said above I think you have to go and take the league by the scruff of the neck at this stage and despite the two slotters for them and Gerrard's obvious will to win, I really dont see the mettle of this team. The wheels will come off eventually there i think.

Arsenal outside of City/Chelsea for me. If they win tomorrow's Derby I see them rattling off a lot of wins in the aftermath.

I liked Jose's interview at the end there

Pretty much laid into the ref but did it in a way that the FA can't charge him for any of it

Top stuff

why was he so irate at the ref? didn't see the game but from reports chelsea were poor, shouldn't it be his players' fault, not like they were winning 2-0 and a dubious red saw them lose 3-2
