quite right too, it's a stupid question. he's a norwegian given a job in wales to try and keep a team up from avoiding the drop - arguably he'd care about the race if united were involved because of his affiliation, but apart from that, why would he give a damn?

Because his team had just played them.

Well, thats why it was asked, unsurprisingly he couldn't care less.
 


The Rooney goal reminds me of many years ago when Man Utd went to Charlton (in the PL), I'm fairly sure it was when Parker was running Charltons midfield and so obviously Curbishley was manager. Anyway I think the result might have been 4-4 but the moment in it that sticks out still and sprung to mind watching Rooney all of an hour ago was what Giggs did that night, center circle, from a dead kick tussles with a player and swivels and volleys the ball goalwards, beat the keeper but instead of bouncing and going in like Rooneys did it bounced and hit the bar. Giggs hit it with his back to goal and obviously with his left foot.
