I've been watching everton for long enough to know that optimism doesn't get you far

and we've got to win first

The odds are we were never going to finish up with 36pts in 12 games, how many teams have ever done that. It was always going to depend on Arse dropping a couple more pts. Its just we lost those pts against palace and now there is no room for error but it can be done.

He got a great reception in the last home game, check YouTube for the video. But his comments when he left were terrible, lets have a look at them again.
Moyes, who left Goodison Park to take over from Sir Alex Ferguson this summer, made it clear that he would not have stood in the players' way had he been in his old job.
However, the Scot conceded that during his own time in charge of Everton, Manchester City attempted to buy Joleon Lescott for an undervalued price, so he has some sympathy for Martínez.
"I definitely do but I also know that if I'd been Everton manager and Sir Alex had come asking for Leighton Baines and Marouane Fellaini, I'd have found it very difficult to keep them because I always felt the right thing to do was what was right for the players," he said. Everton described their former manager's offer for the pair as "derisory and insulting" but Moyes said: "I signed every player at Everton, so I know a lot about them. They are a great club and they are both excellent players

He tried his best to unsettle the team, plus he also said he finally got a winning team when he went to Anfield with Man u.

He didn't believe in Everton Football club and though we were fighting above our weight

There so many more comments but cant find them.

I know about all this but I still think its an over reaction.

He had his faults and he's a bit of a [Poor language removed] but you cant argue he stabilised the club. Im glad him and Neville are gone but under his tenure we improved significantly, this cant be disputed.

I wouldn't cheer him but neither would I boo the bloke to be honest.

No. If you actually read and digested what I wrote, you would have realised that I told you not to be a bellend. This means that while you are currently not one, the attitude of what you had posted was not dissimilar to that of a bellend and you should rethink your opinion.

Hope that helps, la

It doesn't, but thanks for taking the effort to write that

does my head in when people who arent at the game are complainin about what people who are the game are doing

just saying like. im obviously not there either. but if you wanna boo him or cheer him, its up to you to get the game. lids payin sh!teload of money, up to them how they feel about moyes n how they voice it.

Never thought I'd see the day where United fans totally agree with Jamie Carragher, but David Moyes has managed that.

Dutch cup final: Ajax winning 1-0 but then the Ajax fans throw loads of fireworks on the pitch. The game gets restarted and Ajax lose 5-1.
