This is why a lot of neutrals want a different face to qualify. Arsenal as a club and fanbase think that the CL should be reserved each year for them. Like its a given......

pisses me off to be honest.

Dummett and Williamson are league one defenders at best. Newcastle are lucky they're in an era where if you are an established Premier League club you basically have to try really hard to get relegated.

oh come on..... at 1-0 is was over.

Christ, even before kick off this fixture was over.

But Newcastle can have the consolation that in not turning up again tonight will practically guarantee that Arsenal finish above us. After all Newcastle are a much bigger club than Everton and we don't belong in the elite.

the real traversty is we did not face either at this point, and both changed managers and got some fight and belief.
Only 2 sides to beat us at home.
I remember people making league tables without these 2 teams after 8 games as they where considered none entities at the time to illustrate how well we where doing.

Sunderland were still cack when they visited goodison....osman's stupid mistake cost us that game...

Palace...well we just couldn't handle the pressure of fighting for 4th.....we beat arsenal, we lose to palace....we beat United, we lose to Sunderland...

its why i now worry, we'll beat City on Saturday but still finish 5th, & crown Liverpool champs for nothing
