it was laughable when people were claiming he loved them too much to score against them, but was perfectly happy to make sure the goal was scored anyway i.e. makes no difference.

I'd cry if I was chasing a game and my attacking option was to bring on Torres, 50m to be worth about 6 in 3 seasons.

helps liverpool and city, makes it a two horse race. chelsea just don't look arsed, there's no urgency.

but you're right, it doesn't help norwich, why are they doing it. i'm assuming chelsea played on the counter vs RS, norwich have 11 men behind the ball and very little willingness to attack, don't they realize they need to win to stay up, they have no chance imo, but need 3 points from this game to have a chance. they've set it up with 10 mins to go, but showing no desire to build on it - baffling

Atletico ffs!

Looks like Barca might win the league after all... providing they beat Atletico in the final game of the season.

Both teams now likely to end on 91 points - if Barca can beat Atletico - and that means Barca would win the league on the basis of a better head-to-head record, as the first game in Madrid was 0-0.

How have they blown this!

EDIT: Didn't notice Real's two game in hand. What an end to the season it is going to be. Real win their games and they are champions, unless Atletico win their final two games because their head-to-head record v Madrid is also superior.

Franck, London: The only reason Mourinho wins trophies is because he uses expensive squads - he is no different to Allardyce or Pulis. Give them the same teams and they will win with the same tactics.
