I have been closely watching Joe Allan first half to see if I can get what all this hype is about...... seriously he has been uber gash..... the amount of posession he has lost and the wayward passes he has played is shocking..... on 3 occasions he tried playing a forward pass which was never gonna reach the intended target and resulted in them losing the ball and enabling Newcastle to attack them as he then leaves a huge hole in the middle.... honestly I dont get why they big him up so much.
 
Newcastle have been the luckiest team this season.

They shoould have l;ast 3 of their last games, Us, Reading and Norwich at home, dodgy goals all going their way.

That's a sensational post and sums up what Liverpool fans don't understand - it's not how much you have the ball, it's what you do with it.

Fair play to Charlie Adam for putting his finger on the obvious problem too - Suso and Sterling are wingers being asked to play an inside forward role, and are toothless at it.

Joe Allen is actually terrible. I don't care what the stats say - five yard obvious passes do nothing for the teams overall play.

Without Suarez - and Gerrard to a much lesser extent - Liverpool would be prone to a relegation scrap this year, and may still be.

Because he doesn't pass forward. He passes to the side and backwards. He plays to his personal end of game stats rather than for the benefit of the team.

Zero imagination on the ball, no ambition with the pass.
