Today's football.

I'm hoping for a City win or draw, same with Newcastle v West Ham and Obviously I hope Chelsea destroy the RS. That would be a near perfect weekend of other results for us.

I don't get why they don't both play? You don't have to accommodate Modric or Van Der Vaart anymore, so why not go with two up top? They're the perfect forward combination too, Adebayor tall, strong and good in the air, and Defoe, quick, good with ball at feet or running on to flick ons.

Madness.

AVB seems a bit of a dick as he only ever does the same thing - he hit on a winning formula at Porto but for various reasons, mainly the quality of the opposition - it hasn't worked for him over here. Yet he doesn't seem to learn and just plugs away doing the same stuff.
"Insanity is doing the same thing again and again and expecting a different result"

might be something to do with spending a fair bit of wonga on 2 ACM's in Dempsey and Siggurdson, feels like one has to play. They should go with the diamond with sandro holding, two pacy wingers and one ACM behind adebayor and defoe. They looked really good together in midweek and they seem a perfect partnership. Tall and strong with small and pacy

"Yes, Luis Suarez won't win any popularity contests, but he is a fantastic footballer. Without his goals Liverpool would have only two points this season. That reflects the influence he has on them. We used to point to Steven Gerrard and say Liverpool were a one-man team, but this season Suarez has been that one man. A lot of responsibility has fallen on his shoulders and he's responded to it."

lovely dig there phil. All that money on their squad and yet they've only got 2 points between them

Coupled with a United win at Hibs, it'd be a bloody fine weekend of results.

No chance of that happening. Griffiths is just too sexual with a football as evinced by that quality goal he scored earlier.

What was your keeper doing in the first minute though? I mean, not even schoolboys pick up a backpass. Madness

Griffiths has actually developed into a cracking footballer, more's the pity.

Still looks like a monkey that's had a stroke.

Plenty time left to go, GMS will have some part to play.
