Englishman living in Alicante since 1993.

Alicante is a very nice site. Good weather, beaches, food... But now there is a huge unemployment that is making a very big damage.

I remember Camacho's team in the mid 90s. Ismael Urzaiz, Arteaga, Roberto Fresnedoso, Toni and Lardin

I remember that team. There were very good players but they were short of luck. Have you seen the new Stadium (Cornellà - El Prat)? It seems an english Stadium to me.

English Football rocks. Premier League and FA CUP are wonderful who ones that loves football. The problem is that there are clubs like Manchester United and Liverpool that are getting a huge support around the world but in a bad way for the future of the football. I'll explain this. The Devils and the Reds believe that promotionating themselves and trying to sell all the possible merchandising is strong enough for the clubs. That's a very big error, because they only are looking for receive all the money, but sometimes in the way, they are loosing the identity of the clubs. I think is not a coincidence a club like FC United of Manchester; at the end people get tired...

But this is not something exclusive of the english football. Spanish football is also in this crazy way. Football is nowadays far away from the people, and this can't be possible.
