Player Valuation: £40m
It's difficult for any young player at United. He was in and out of the side and, for whatever reason, the fans turned on him. He's still got his prime ahead of him and he could still turn out to be a very decent footballer.
He was at Wigan for the 2010-11 season and he scored 4 goals in 19 starts. I don't see any downside to picking him up when his contract ends. If he can fulfill his potential, great. If not, he'd be a useful squad player.

I think Tom is going to be one of the best midfielders in the England camp but 10 months in football is an eternity. Anything could happen in that time.”
