Cleverley isn't particularly good, but we've been signing not particularly good players for 20 years so it's not really a surprise.

Everyone thinks he is being signed as a squad player, but Martinez is such a massive gobshite that he probably sees him as a first team player, and our slide back into mediocrity will continue.

Of course he's a first team player; that doesn't mean he's an automatic starter though - has Barkley or Besic been?

I didn't say we'd ONLY signed not particularly good players. The majority though, you'd have to say, are about on a level with Clevel.
