Tom Cleverley

A poor player. Not his fault that he is played when he is out of his depth. Played by a manager some had hailed as a messiah like figure after a few results against utter dross. That being said by far from the worst this evening. It was the way we play the game and set up tactically that cost us the points tonight. Not Tom cleverley.

Fits in well when we're attacking well / pressing high (just because of stamina and decent quickness) really struggles to effect the game if others around him aren't clicking because he's good at moving the ball when he has plenty of options but will never be able to lead by example. Hoping to never see him after January by next summer at the latest.

Neat and tidy when the game was going Everton's way, but the second half showed what a complete waste of space Cleverley is.

He's the epitome of the Ferguson youth team racket. United use the likes of him, Neville and Gibson as squad fillers until they get too old for reserve money, and then find some mugs - usually Everton or Sunderland - to take them off their hands and pay £40-50k a week to someone who offers about as much as one of the kids earning relatively next to nothing.

Hopefully Cleverley will be the last one that we have to suffer.
