I agree the loans destroyed Garbutt and Galloway but I think Davies has all the attributes needed to make it apart from one which is decision making. The only way he develops this is to play games but when he plays for us the crowd are on his back. Get him out for 6 months and hopefully he'll get enough games that his decision making will come on and he may be the one to back uo Gomes.

Rightly so. Davies needs coaching and there is a dearth of quality coaches out there that would actually improve him. He should stay at the club and work under Silva as he is well known for working extensively on players positioning and other tactical aspects, and clearyl believes in Davies ability. I think Davies would benefit more from this than losing a year playing kick and rush in the championship - he had enough of that last year under Allardyce!

same, the thing that ALWAYS sticks out to me with davies is ( and I think it's a big thing ) whatever the score win lose or draw, whoever we are playing, he ALWAYS wants the ball, some probabl think that's nothing but some of the cowards we have try as hard as possible not to get involved when its getting tough, but he always wants the ball always tries to get us moving

his last start was against Leicester I think ( league wise ) and I thought he had a boss game as well.

Nor should he, he may not have been getting lots of minutes on the pitch so far this season but he is a regular in the match day squad week in week out.

I find it mad how some people think that we should loan out our squad depth. Davies, DCL etc should be going nowhere.

I love the kid, I want him to succeed. You can tell he loves the team as he plays his heart out anytime he is on the field... way more loving of the badge than that rat Barkley
