Shackles off and full of grit & energy, another good performance.
The team looked considerably more compact out of possession and dynamic in possession with the extra man dropped into the three, hopefully MS heeds this moving forward

Dropping Siggy took some responsibility off Tom as there were two deeper midfielders and he responded well to it. This was the first performance in a long time that resembled his breakthrough form. He was commited, taking risks and getting about the pitch. It's only one game but for a 19 year old to put himself about in the middle of the park against the champions like that, credit where it's due and here's hoping he can build on it.

He has been our best player since coming back in to the side a couple of games ago. I know that's not saying much but he looks like he is playing a more mature game.

It's important the knee-jerking doesn't go too far the other way, but some of the stuff written has been astonishing. We are a better team when he plays.

Just not true, in the slightest.

Were people even watching that tonight? We lost, we were nearly 70/30 in posession, and he got completely dominated by Stones in the middle there.

Still don't think he has what it takes. Same with DCL. Hope they prove me wrong but if we want to seriously push on then they can't be near the starting 11 currently
