Thought he was excellent in an extremely limited role. Holgate was superb, but was often found out of position - Tom did well to cover space and offer himself for passes.

Decent game today, did all the simple stuff well, was worried about his early yellow, seems like a normal thing now picking up a yellow for young tom

Considerong how early he got booked I thought he was excellent today. Used the ball well, blocked a lot of the lines just by being aware of the runs utd were making.

From half an hour onwards I thought him and Holgate really got to grips with utds midfield.

Well in Tom, really down to the bare bones and he isn't shying away from putting a shift in.

He put in a very responsible 2nd half performance.

Played well again as the senior central midfielder.

Plenty of time for him to develop though,I agree his game has gone defensive minded but he’s not the finished article and will hopefully develop more offensively. Got to be hard with all the managers he’s been under despite his age
