Davies is one of the worst players in years and should be given away to a lower league club. I didn't leave when it was going well, I left when the 2nd goal went in and was too disgusted to stay. I tried a v sign on Digne but he could not see me. Then came the ordeal outside with their crowing fans. A terrible capitulation followed later by zero remorse from the arrogant know-all Carlo.

That wasn’t the point though. You can’t say the managers blameless because he can’t help players taking a bad touch but fans aren’t blameless, even though they can’t either. I’m fine with you not being happy with people leaving, it’s a pet hate of mine, but let’s be fair about it and use the same standard for everyone.

I didnt say he was blameless altogether, read back a couple of posts. Carlo brought him on so he takes that responsibility, but he cant take any for the absoloute crap touch he produced when 2 vs 1. Niasse is crap and that's all i can say about him.
As for the fans and i will tag @14towestham to answer both posts, its very simple:

As a fan, if you leave in the 84th minute you have effectively switched off from the game at that point. You cannot therefore complain at the players for switching off in the last 60 seconds thinking its all over. The players have done the same thing the fans did and got cocky/confident/relaxed or whatever you call it.

The players have the responsibility to see it out, the fans have a responsibility to support them. That is a fact. If you stayed until the final whistle then fair play, if not maybe instead of moaning you should be backing the players instead by actually being there for the duration. Any fan who left in the 84th minute yesterday (there was alot) you didnt help anybody.

As I said, fans leaving early is a pet gate of mine, but they don’t have a responsibility to do anything. The players and manager do though.

Anyway, Tom Davies did himself no favours last night.

This was likely to be his make or break season as you have to imagine that Schneiderlin (at least) will be replaced before next season and Tom won’t get a look in.

Injuries have meant that he’s had ample opportunity to impress, and there have been bright moments, but overall he’s failed his audition.
Last night was his Phil Neville v Wigan game for me. He needs moving on.

If still give him a couple more years. Not first choice though as a squad player. If he is still lacking in physical strength, poor ball control then get rid. He needs to work hard in training

how mature are you

He's 22 in June so not THAT young, the mistake he made was totally unnecessary. deserves some stick for that.
Delph giving the ball away was just as bad too.
Was Delph the utter braindead get who lumped the ball aimlessly forward when it was played back to him from kick off? Unreal. Wasn't he brought in because he should know NOT to do exactly that?

He's absolutely shabbite and if I had my way Forever 21 kid would be sold to whichever championship side wanted him in the summer.

Get a £8-10 million offer and take it.
