Credit to Davies he always shows for the ball and never seems to shirk responsibility. Ok his possesion retention can be poor at times, but I think that's a small tweak to his game that can be achieved. He's got the attributes to be a good midfielder, he just needs a run of games to hone his skills.

That always happens to him. Coming on for bit parts he'll be inconsistent. He gets a run in the team, he gets better.

It was the same with DLC .

Maybe it's because he is a young lad or maybe because he has a unique fashion sense but it seems to me that people have their minds made up about Tom Davies and cannot accept that he is a very good young footballer who will get better as he ages and in my opinion is a future captain of the side.

Spot on... shocking the amount of people seem to take pleasure out of every stray pass or missed tackle.

If Gomes does the same thing you get “Unlucky lad”... when Davies does it you just get swearing and moaning.

Folks need to get used to this new way of playing. Adventurous and positive passing. The wayward passes that comes with it is inevitable due to the increase difficulties and risks. This will be the way as long as Ancelotti is with us. The only way to reduce misplace passes with quick fix is by acquiring better quality players.
