Not only do we see the back of this bloke - but it is sweet, sweet FFP profit. Very important if we are bringing players in.

If Brands could get anything over £15mil for him it would be sensational.

Slightly surprised, if rumours are correct, that Newcastle would offer £12 mill for Davies, personally I would take it. I don’t think he is Premier League standard. If we get Allan he won’t play many matches next season.

If he is sensible he will move if he gets the chance. He will get a 5 year deal probably on improved terms. If he stays here I can’t see him getting another contract

I would sell him tbh. He literally peaked and hasn't improved since he scored that goal against City 4 years or so ago. I think we should try and get closer to 20 though

The 'he is a blue' brigade that will fume at him leaving are the same people that demand this club move forward. We must move on from the 'he is a blue' attitude.

Players like Tom Davies are not top 6, nor top 10 players, moving on guys like him is the exact ambition that this club needs to show. Big clubs don't carry players like this, not even as depth and nor should Everton.

I like the guy, but if this football club is to progress we have to be completely unemotional on decisions like these. Remember - Nil Satis Nisi Optimum.
