Its because his beard is back.

Nah in all seriousness I didn’t think he had that level in him anymore. Made up for not having brilliant pace with a level of reading the game and tactical intelligence that no one else in either midfield had. Brilliant performance. Even right at the end drawing a foul from a Spurs player before having a go at Keane for letting the ball bounce.

Im a big Allan fan.

If Davies is able to consistently put in performances like last nights and also learn from Allan plus follow Ancelotti's instructions then...

He'd be competing with that West Ham player Rice for an England spot.

We've got Allan till hes 32 by which time Davies will be 24/25.

Ideal timing really a becoming a great rotation option.
