why are we like this and is it just Blues? You got that with Dom, after the West Ham game. His first poor game this season. The usual daggers were out.
Turned out he was injured.

Agreed mate, I just don’t get the lack of support for a lad whos come through the ranks. It’s almost as if some want him to fail. Get behind him, he may improve even more. The lad has always had the talent.
He just needed a run of games, a set position and a manager to show 100% faith in him to prove to the boneheads what he is.
Funnily enough most of those who shouted the loudest about him are they same clowns who wrote DCL off.
What a world we live in eh
Go on Tom lad...He's always been brave on the ball and never hides, but maybe it's just me, but he's looked half a yard faster, the last three or four games. Would be made up if Tom makes it here, because as you can see he loves it at Everton.
Agree entirely. Really proud !.
You can think what you like. I dont know you so why would i be bothered. Again you're doing it. Writing like half a dozen games improvement has completely erased his form for the best part of 18 months. Virtualy 99% of this forum would have sold him when there was speculation about a transfer to newcastle. Why? Because he was poor. His fitness was poor. His game was poor. He's clearly worked on his fitness which coincides with his game. Remember he cost us the game at leicester, why do you think he did. Because he looked shattered and that made his game and passing sloppy. And it was a regular thing. If thats changed and he has his act together he's welcome at Everton.
But like any player if they cant manage 90 minutes and that just continues then look to move them on.
Its not that hard to grasp.
Incredible insight, all he had to do was some extra running? Have you thought of getting into coaching?
99% is an interesting statistic you have invented. Plenty of people backed the boy, many who didn't have now seen the light. Don't live in the darkness Gil, join us.
I'm sure if he'll be delighted that you'll permit him welcome to the club if he maintains his form.
Im not changing my stance on it just to please you. A flavour of the month post and then 5/6 games possibly change back. consistency is the key to wether him or anyone warrant a place. No different to pickord iwobi etc.
Big difference i see in davies now is his fitness. His lack of before made him sloppy and it was a real issue. Hence why he got a lot of criticism. Not talking about a 17yr old. He was 20/21 and he shouldnt have been that fcked in games.
Lets see for the rest of the season. Im not sold on anyone over a few games when they were previously so poor.
Going on about its an Everton thing. I tell you what an Everton thing is. A few good games and everyones a world beater. Biggest problem the club has had for donkeys years. You dont have to be consistent. Just chuck in a few good games and you've made it here.
Nah they don’t.You won't move your stance but you will move the goalposts. Nobody is saying he is a world beater.
Those writing him off and calling him a championship player at 20/21 now look daft.
I'm not sure why you keep harping on about his fitness. Do you have anything to back this up?
Here's a thought: he's playing in an set position for a great manager who knows how to play to his strengths, rather than being sent out chasing shadows by Marco Silva. This is why he looks miles better and it has nothing to do with fitness.
